Andy Bakker is an Alexandria, Virginia based activist running for the Virginia House of Delegates in the 46th District. Mr. Bakker has been a medical marijuana patient and advocate for the past five years following a neck injury leaving him with chronic pain. Bakker is currently a student at the George Mason University School of Law. The War on Drugs and all the other wars on ethereal definitions of harm and wrongdoing is a favorite subject of mine. I personally have never taken drugs for fun nor profit, but I do not deny anyone the right to do what they please with their own body provided they do not infringe on the equal rights of others.

If we compare life in the United States during the first quarter of the 20th century to what life is like today we will recognize that we have not only lost our freedom; but as importantly, we are becoming aligned with government policy more so than family ties.
